Thirsty for being around “Kota Tua” on Sunday afternoon make me and my bf also his sister looking for a place to freshen our body and soul. So we choose to go to Pantai Indah Kapuk because this place is so popular nowadays for people who love to eat. we choose to grab something at ‘fish n co’, and after we finished we looked that there was an unique place beside it. Many blue large pipes decorate the exterior of the shop. It’s called “The Lab”. So, we decided to entered this place.
The Lab from outside
Who ever think to make a laboratory as a theme of a tea shop? Such an unique idea. Like the name, this tea shop contains so many things that you can find in a chemical laboratory. As soon as you arrived in The Lab, your memory about chemistry lesson in your senior high school will be storming out. The interior design is very impressive. Inside the store, you can see so many beaker, test tube, chemical formula, and other chemistry stuffs. The tables read many chemical elements. Even you can find periodic table of chemical elements. It was really remisnisce me about how to memorize all of the chemical elements when i was in my senior high school. Beside that, the waiter here wears lab coat and called “scienTEAs”.

Another side of the Lab
There are many variety of bubble tea served here. When we have choosed our tea, we can also add it with some topping, like boba, popping boba, jelly, and etc. After read the menu, i ordered macadamia milk tea with Lychee Popping and Chocolate Milk Tea with Strawberry popping. And don’t forget to show the glass of the milk tea. It resemble with measuring glass. It’s designed slim and tall. They sell not only milk tea, but also some dessert and appetizer.
The taste of the macadamia milk tea and chocolate milk tea satisfy my thirst. But, about the taste, its kinda similar with other bubble milk tea. It’s just a tea. Added by milk flavor. The difference is with the topping. Its make the tea more fresh, specially when you got the bobba and make the boba implode inside your mouth. And also we make a race to found the most boba in one suction.
