Eating inside train in Warung Leko Grand Indonesia

Walking arroung the fifth floor in Grand Indonesia, you will noticed that a train parked there. Many people sit and eat inside the train. It is an Indonesian restaurant that called Warung Leko. Warung Leko has many branches, usually in a shop, not inside a mall. Warung Leko usually has sundanese decoration in every branch. But, in Grand Indonesia, you can see quite a different view of Warung Leko. We will eat inside a train and sit on the train seat.

Warung Leko’s Train

Some time ago, me, my boyfriend, and his sister visited this place. This restaurant has speciality in Penyet’s food. We ordered Iga Penyet, Ayam Penyet, Enoki msuhroom, Tauge with anchovy, cendol ice with cincau, and tahu sutera. Every penyet’s food completed with chili. We also can customize the spiciness of the chili, like middle level or full level. I love the chili so much. The taste is really awesome and always make me want to add the hot rice. So i can finish the chili till empty.

The taste of tauge with anchovy and enoki mushroom are good. Enoki mushroom is fried with flour and make it crunchy. But the tahu sutera is not quiet good in our opinion. It’s because of the tahu is a little wet but it was fried. So, when we bite it, a little water will poured.

Despite of the restaurant usually full, food that we ordered would not take so much time served to us. The hygiene of the food and the place is quiet good also. The price of the food is not really expensive. We spend about 220.000 for three people which each people eat their own food and drink. We also add the tauge with anchovy, enoki mushroom and tahu sutera.
