Salted Egg Fried Chicken

Working so hard for my thesis make me want to eat something different this weekend. i really want to eat something that taste spicy and salty. So, i was browsing on internet to looking for menu that i can make for my lunch in weekend.  And finally i found salted egg prawn. But, i think i want to make it into chicken that i can buy it easily and good enough for my money in my wallet. 🙂

Then, i went to superindo to buy something that I need for cooking this kind of food. I used smoked salted egg because it will make our food more fragrant. Beside that, i also used Kobe for frying the chicken to make it crispy.  And don’t forget to put some green chilies to make it spicy. If you don’t like spicy food, don’t give the chili and it will not make your food tasteless. So, you make the choice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece of chicken chest fillet
  • 3 smoked salted egg, chopped
  • 2 cloved of garlic, minced
  • 1 cloved of red onion, sliced thinly
  • 3 small green chilies, sliced
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1 packet of Kobe for frying
  • cooking oil for frying

Methods:

  1. Slice the chicken into dices and put it in a bowl. Add Kobe powder, then mix it until all the pieces of chicken covered by the powder. In heat enough oil, fry the chicken until it crunchy. Remove and drain it with tissue.
  2. Briefly, chop the smoked salted egg. Set it aside.
  3. Clean the wok and put 2 spoons of oil. Heat it. After that, add in the minced garlic and red onion. Add also a half spoon of sugar. Reduce heat to low fire. Add salted egg and chilies. Stir it immediately until fragrant. Return the fried chicken in the wok. Stir just to coat the chicken wel..
  4. Dish up and serve it with white rice.

Serve for 2 peoples . Enjoy 🙂
